<p><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Midweight Exhibition Designer</strong></span><br /><br /><strong>Job Summary</strong><br /> Are you a multidisciplinary designer who wants to create memorable environments and brand experiences rather than repetitive exhibition stands?</p> <p><br />Major Players is partnering with a fast-growing exhibition and brand experience agency to recruit a Midweight Designer. Working across a mix of consumer and B2B brands, you'll create exhibitions, events, activations and experiential environments for high-profile clients.</p> <p><br />This is newly created headcount within a small, collaborative creative team. You'll have the autonomy to lead smaller projects while working alongside senior creatives on larger briefs. It's an opportunity to help shape the role around your strengths and grow with an ambitious agency expanding further into consumer and experiential work.</p> <p><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br /> * Develop high-quality 3D concepts, visuals and renders for exhibitions, events and experiential environments<br /> * Take ownership of smaller projects, working independently with support from the Creative Director<br /> * Collaborate with senior creatives and the wider team on larger, integrated briefs<br /> * Produce technical drawings, simple construction packs and build-ready documentation<br /> * Create presentation decks, mood boards and supporting visuals for pitches, tenders and client meetings<br /> * Apply holistic design thinking across spaces, experiences, materials and supporting 2D design</p> <p><br /><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong><br /> * Midweight-level design experience with clear progression beyond a junior role<br /> * A portfolio demonstrating range across exhibitions, experiential, interiors, consumer activations or events<br /> * Strong 3D design skills alongside confidence producing 2D assets and technical drawings<br /> * Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop<br /> * Experience developing projects from initial concept through to production-ready design<br /> * After Effects or motion design experience would be beneficial but is not essential</p> <p><br /><strong>Personal Attributes</strong><br /> * Creative, curious and interested in designing experiences rather than simply building exhibition systems<br /> * Comfortable taking ownership while responding positively to creative direction<br /> * Collaborative, adaptable and low ego<br /> * Confident working within a small, flat and fast-growing team<br /> * Able to move between different clients, sectors and creative styles<br /> * Organised and comfortable managing multiple briefs in a fast-paced environment</p> <p><br /><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits</strong><br /> * £40,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience<br /> * Further salary flexibility may be available for an exceptional candidate<br /> * Flexible working<br /> * Friday summer hours<br /> * Bonus schemes<br /> * Development and wellbeing allowances</p> <p><br /><strong>Location &amp; Workplace Policy</strong><br /> * Central London<br /> * Hybrid working, with three days per week in the studio and Mondays and Fridays remote</p> <p><br />If you would like a confidential chat about this role or your next career move, then please get in contact with me.
