<h4>Freelance Creative Operations Manager</h4> <hr> <p><strong>The Company</strong> A digitally-led consumer brand known for bold, high-volume creative output across social, digital, retail & campaign. A fast-growing team with a strong creative identity & direct access to senior leadership.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong> A hands-on consultancy role coming in at a key moment of transition - you'll be keeping day-to-day creative ops running across a busy team while simultaneously auditing & improving how things work. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how a high-output creative function operates, with direct access to the Creative Director & CMO.</p> <p>Key responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implement & build out processes for video, design & copy teams - supporting team leads across product launches & BAU in a reactive, stakeholder-visible way <li>Own the creative production budget - orchestrating yearly spend & reporting directly to senior leadership on cost status <li>Lead quality control & efficiency improvements across the creative function, with a focus on post-production workflow & creative/copy collaboration <li>Manage day-to-day ops across a team of ~15, including 7 senior heads <li>Advise on AI tooling & implementation - the team are already using AI tools & want someone to push further adoption & identify new options <li>Prioritise & programme across multiple concurrent briefs & channels <li>Advise on longer-term ops structure - with potential to evolve into a permanent Director or Head of Ops position </ul> <p><strong>What They're Looking For</strong></p> <p><em>Must-haves:</em></p> <ul> <li>Proven creative ops background managing teams of similar scale & complexity <li>Strong grasp of creative campaign delivery across multiple channels & deliverables <li>Hands-on experience with AI tools in a creative workflow context (non-negotiable) <li>Confident using Asana or equivalent for workflow & project tracking <li>Able to operate as both strategic consultant & day-to-day operator simultaneously <li>Experienced freelancer - comfortable hitting the ground running from day one </ul> <p><em>Nice-to-haves:</em></p> <ul> <li>Background in beauty, FMCG or a similarly reactive, high-volume creative environment <li>Experience advising on team structure & role design at senior level </ul> <p><strong>Day Rate & Contract</strong> £400-£415 per day (outside IR35) - starting ASAP until November</p> <p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Direct access to Creative Director & CMO - genuine influence over how things work, not just execution <li>Dual mandate: keep the engine running while rebuilding it - great scope for a senior operator <li>Real pathway to a permanent Director or Head of Ops role for the right person </ul>
