WHO WE ARE

Major Players was founded in London in 1993. For over 30 years, we have placed marketing, creative, and digital talent at some of the world's most ambitious brands — including Unilever, TikTok, Gymshark, LEGO, and Peloton. We are the UK's original marketing and creative recruitment agency, and the first in our industry to achieve B Corp certification.

In April 2026, we launched our US operation in Miami. The US practice is led by Jenny Taylor, a recruiter with 12+ years of experience placing senior marketing and creative talent globally.

WHY MIAMI AND NOT NEW YORK

The honest answer: New York didn't feel right. It is a saturated recruitment market where the relationships are transactional and the differentiation between agencies is minimal. Miami is different. The businesses here are building things with genuine ambition. The market is underserved by specialist recruitment. And the cultural and demographic complexity of the city — the Latin American dimension, the bilingual talent demand, the globally connected entrepreneurial community — is not something any generalist recruiter handles well.

We looked at 181 D2C brands in the city. 58% were in the three categories we know best: fashion, beauty, and food & beverage. 39% were in the employee range where a specialist marketing hire is most critical. And none of the specialist recruiters we'd compete with had meaningful presence there.

The talent pool is thinner than demand requires, which means the brands that build the right teams now — before the market fully matures — will have a significant advantage. The conversations we've had in our first few months have confirmed what we expected: there is a genuine gap in the market for a specialist, consultative, relationship-first recruiter in this city.
