<p>Major Players are partnering with an innovative, indie design and branding agency who work with some of the world's best-known consumer brands to hire for a Senior Account Manager. This position sits at the heart of the client services team, you will run your own projects with significant autonomy, managing day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of FMCG clients as well as building relationships that last. </p>

Key responsibilities: </p>
<p>Delivery & Project Leadership </p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Lead day-to-day delivery across multiple small to medium projects for several clients simultaneously </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Take ownership of client briefs: interrogating requirements and shaping clear, well-considered agency responses </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Set projects up for success: scoping, forecasting, timelines, budgets and project planning </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Brief internal teams in a way that's motivating and gives creatives and strategists the context to do their best work </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Keep project finances healthy: accurate reporting, early risk flagging, proactive replanning when needed </p>
</ul>
<p>Client Relationships </p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Serve as a trusted day-to-day client contact, building relationships grounded in clarity, consistency and genuine interest in their business </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Develop a real understanding of each client's category, competitive landscape and business priorities </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Proactively spot opportunities: ways to add more value, improve ways of working, or extend involvement </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Contribute to client growth plans and take ownership of actions that support account development over time </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Keep clients confident and well-informed at every stage of a project </p>
</ul>
<p>Collaboration </p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Work closely with strategy and design teams to ensure work is well-briefed and delivered to a high standard </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Foster positive, solutions-focused working relationships across internal teams </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Involve Account Directors and senior stakeholders appropriately, escalating risks early rather than late </p>
</ul>
<p>Skills required: </p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A proven track record at SAM level in an agency environment (ideally branding or design agencies) </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Strong project management skills: you run tight ships without being rigid </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A strategic mindset: you spot opportunities others miss, and you push briefs to be better </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Natural relationship-building skills: clients trust you and teams want to work with you </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>The confidence to work independently and the self-awareness to know when to escalate </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Curiosity about brands, culture, categories and consumer behaviour </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Calm under pressure, positive by default, no-ego in approach </p>
</ul>

<p>FMCG experience is a plus. Drinks/spirits category knowledge is particularly relevant given the current portfolio of clients. </p>

Hours: Full time </p>
<p>Salary: Up to £45,000 – £55,000, dependent on experience </p>
<p>Office Location: South West London </p>
<p>Office requirements: 3 days per week in the office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) <br>
