The Company
A live events group running a large portfolio of major festivals across the UK & Europe. They're mid-way through building a central Studio capability to support festival teams at scale.

The Role This is a newly-created role reporting into the Marketing Director to build this function from scratch. You'd run a "virtual studio" model - scaling a freelance creative network up & down around festival peaks - repurposing festival-owned assets into channel-ready creative across Meta, TikTok, email & more, always within each festival's brand guidelines.

Act as the trusted creative authority for festival teams, translating each festival's brand & fan experience into high-performing digital creative

Build & manage a flexible freelance production network - briefing, QA & workflow standards

Design AI-augmented production workflows (Runway, Pika, Adobe Firefly or equivalent) for motion, graphics & format adaptation at portfolio scale

Own the creative effectiveness loop with the Performance & CRM teams - brief, produce, test, measure, learn

Set creative KPIs tied to commercial outcomes: engagement rate, click-thumbstop ratio, cost-per-ticket-click, CAC reduction

Partner with the CRM lead so top-performing creative concepts extend into lifecycle channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp), not just paid media

Design the asset supply framework - briefing festival teams on what to capture on-site & building a portfolio-wide, tagged asset library

What They're Looking For

Must-haves:

Agency or in-house background with real authority on channel creative strategy

Comfortable managing a flexible freelance team with strong briefing & QA discipline

Genuinely hands-on with AI creative tools (Runway, Pika, Firefly or similar) & automation platforms

Fluent reading performance data (hook rates, CTR, engagement) & translating it into briefs

Senior stakeholder skills - able to build trust with senior brand leads as a creative partner, not a vendor

Comfortable in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with competing priorities

Nice-to-haves:

Live music, festival or longer-lead ticketing experience - understanding the 12-month sales window & awareness-to-FOMO funnel

Agency experience with similar clients also works well

A real passion for live music, not just the marketing of it

Contract & Rate Freelance/interim to start, with the idea to go perm. Permanent salary is £90-£100k for the right fit. Day rate £450-£600 per day DOE.

Logistics

3 days/week in a Central London office, relocating within Central London shortly after start

Moving fast - interviews starting imminently

Why This Role

Genuinely build a function from the ground up, not slot into an existing one

AI/automation is central to the remit, not a side project - real scope to shape how a major festival portfolio uses it

Route to permanent for the right person, with senior-level access to brand leadership
