<p>We’re currently partnered with a privately owned hospitality group that has spent nearly two decades building some of London's most culturally significant nightlife and live music businesses. Think venues with genuine heritage, loyal communities, and a reputation that extends well beyond the industry. </p> <p>With an ambitious programme of growth underway, including the launch of a major new flagship site, they're now looking for a Head of Marketing to take the reins across their entire portfolio and help define the next era of the brand. </p> <p><strong>The Position </strong></p> <p>This is a broad, senior remit. You'll sit on the leadership team, report to the CEO, and have full ownership of marketing across a diverse portfolio of music and nightlife brands, each with its own identity, audience, and commercial objectives. </p> <p>Day to day, you can expect to be across: </p> <ul> <li> <p>Developing and executing the overarching marketing and brand strategy across the group </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Line managing Marketing Managers embedded across individual venues and brands </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Setting the direction for content, creative, and design output </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Owning the commercial levers, ticket sales, audience growth, CRM, and paid media </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Ensuring brand consistency and distinctiveness across a multi-venue portfolio </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Building the infrastructure, processes, reporting, and systems, to support a scaling team </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Leading on new venue and concept launches, including a high-profile flagship opening </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Feeding into wider business strategy alongside the CEO and senior leadership </p> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We're Looking For </strong></p> <p>You'll be a seasoned senior marketer, someone who's equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling their sleeves up. You'll have a genuine affinity with music, nightlife, or live events culture, and ideally you'll have worked at a similar level within that world. </p> <p><u>Beyond the sector experience, we're looking for someone who: </u></p> <ul> <li> <p>Knows how to build brands that people actually care about, culturally and commercially </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Has led and grown marketing and creative teams, and takes real pride in developing people </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Has strong instincts across digital, audience development, paid media, discovery behaviour </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Brings a high bar for creative quality, brand identity, and design </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Can hold the long-term picture while staying close to the day-to-day detail </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Is collaborative, decisive, and energised by working in a fast-moving, independent business </p> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location & Workplace Policy </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Central London </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Mainly office based (1 day WFH) </p> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Salary & Benefits </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>£90,000 - £100,000 per annum </p> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>20 days plus bank holidays, pension, complimentary tickets and 50% off in all venues </p> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>If you would like a confidential chat about this role or your next career move, then please send your CV to <a href="mailto:jodie.clayton@majorplayers.co.uk" target="_blank">jodie.clayton@majorplayers.co.uk</a> or connect via LinkedIn: <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jodieclayton/" target="_blank">Jodie Clayton</a> </p> <p>Major Players are the UK’s leading digital, marketing, and creative talent agency, and over the last 30 years we’ve consistently championed our people and communities.
